Honey Bees Gathering Pollen From a Palm Tree Blossom

Share it Please
Honey Bees Gathering Pollen From a Palm Tree Blossom are fascinating to watch.  Doing their part to pollinate the earth and making a mess of the path below while they are at it.  The blossoms are heavy with pollen and drop to the path easily.  The industrious bees don't mind scavenging on the floor for fallen pollen.  Notice how heavy their back legs are when they are getting ready to hurry home.

Greenpeace says that:

Believe it or not, you have a bee to thank for every one in three bites of food you eat.
 From Greenpeace's website:

Common sense actions can restore and protect the world’s bees. Here’s a strong start:
  1. Ban the seven most dangerous pesticides.
  2. Protect pollinator health by preserving wild habitat.
  3. Restore ecological agriculture.
